I have been engaged in the field of photography and visual arts for over forty five years. This web site is a portfolio representing some of my personal work done during that time. My commercial and technical work for other studios and organizations, such as in Solar Astronomy at Cal Tech, or as studio assistant to Harry Langdon in Hollywood, is not reflected here except as inspiration and in the technical craftsmanship acquired over the years. Some information about me and what I've done during that time can be found here: Biography

This collection will change and vary over time as long as this web site stays up. All photos were manipulated to some extent in photoshop, much as a photographer would manipulate a picture in the darkroom in the days before digital imaging. Unless otherwise noted, all pictures were shot with a digital camera.

I haven't arranged these in any particular order or by any category, except for the Alaskan photos. Old, new, color, black and white, film, digital...they're all my babies. Some may not resonate with a lot of people, but that's OK. All I'm trying to do is condense a lot of years into a small selection of pictures. There are so many that I've left out.

I've added a "blog" to the site. This blog will be devoted to the Cincinnati Museum Center and my volunteer association with this fine organization. I invite everyone to participate in a dialogue about the behind-the-scenes activities shown and discussed there.
